ARLO Essential not being added

HI, I want to add a new ARLO Essential spotlight and I cant, I tried from several phones, PC, several accounts and few WIFI but after reading the bar code it gets stucked

Make sure that your phone is connected to the same wifi network as the one selected for the camera and that it is a 2.4Ghz network.

Also, make sure that you are entering the password correctly.

Is the camera fully charged?

Hi, 

I have 10+ cameras installed, want to add 3 more and does not work, I read instructions and all wifi data is correct but still does not work.

wondering if you have a bug somewhere and its not only me… maybe cameras have issues, even fully charged and added on other account are not seen visible in app

Note this is a user-to-user forum, and neither @Streak2 nor I work for Arlo.

 

Is the camera you purchased a Gen 2 model?  If it is, are you selecting Gen 2 in the app?  

 

The Gen 2 cameras aren't available in all geographies yet - if you are outside the US and don't see the Gen 2 option, then you can't add those cameras to your account.
