I have 10 cameras. I pay top monthly for Arlo. We have used these cameras for almost two years now. They have ran smoothly till here recently. Nothing change in our home no new devices. I checked everything for updates. But my cameras will go down randomly and come up hours later or in a couple minutes. It happens constantly every single day. Constantly that my cameras are now down more than running at times, Now some cameras aren’t even recording sound. No settings have been changed. We have done resets on them. If they are dying than we’re switching companies bc I don’t want to fork up every two years for cameras. Is there a solution? Before I drop and buy a different brand?

Is it all the cameras that are randomly going offline or is it a certain few?

It’s random cameras. We thought it might have been our internet modem and router we pay for highest package of internet there is. They came out and switched our stuff. We reset the cameras and still doing it. Now it’s randomly choosing to record sound along with if they want to stay online.

Can you try resetting the cameras and adding them back to the account?

Yes we have. We also added a home base to see if it helps. We have ten cameras. They go a few days great then back at it not recording sound and randomly going offline.

That could be too close.  The router WiFi might be overpowering the hub's receiver.  (google "Receiver Desensitivation" if you want more details).

Generally I recommend putting the hub as far from the router as the supplied cable will reach (roughly 5-6 feet).
