Subscription required for Essential w/ Spotlight when connected to base station?

Is a Subscription required for the Essential w/ Spotlight camera when connected to an existing base station? I don’t get recordings like for my other Arlo cameras on the same base  station.

Yes. Arlo Essential series devices require a subscription to save recordings to the Arlo cloud.
