Hello,

I am using my Arlo 2 as a security system in my cottage in northern Wisconsin. I would like to monitor the inside temperature there and get an alert if the temperature falls below 40 degrees during frost Wisconsin winters. Id like to now if my furnace fails. I think the only device to do this is the baby monitor.

Does the baby monitor allow a low temperature range down to 40 degrees?

Is there a different device I can hook up to monitor the indoor temperature?

thanks!

Wouldn't it be simpler to add an Internet of Things (IoT) temperature sensor rather than messing around with something designed for other purposes?

You might be able to find something that can talk to Arlo.
