Mobile phone hotspot + baby monitoring system, use the same hotpsot device to interact

Hi,

I would like to use the hotpsot functionality of my mobile phone to connect the baby monitoring system to the Internet and use the same phone to interact with the baby monitoring system.

It just does not work. Any suggestions how to solve it?

AFAIK You cannot run Hotspot and WiFi simultaneously. By definition, using the Hotspot basically turns your phone into a router that uses the 3G/4G connection to the internet.

So basically, I would like to connect my baby monitoring system to the Internet through the cellular network of my phone (by the hotpsot functionality) and also interact with the baby monitoring system with the same phone.
