Microphone on Arlo Baby seem low when viewing on iPhone/iPad. Tried adjusting sound.

Hi,

I have set up the camera and it seems to work well. The only problem though is that the microphone seems to be recording but the sound in my phone/ipad is extremly low. I have tried to adjust all sound settings (and consulted the manual) but i cant seem to find the solution. Can anybody help?

Is the volume low when listening to a recording and when live?

Have you tried using the web interface https://my.arlo.com/ as well as on your phone/pad?

Yes you can hardly make out any sound, if i hold my breath and listen though i can hear something if I hold my breath and listen hard. I have signed in to the web interface and can’t hear any sound there either and the settings seems like the same. Which button should regulate this?

There is no sensitivity for the microphone audio, it's either on or it's off.

Do you have your device speaker volume turned up?

Has this suddenly started or been like this all the time?

You could try and switch the baby camera off and then on again.

Unplug the external power then turn the battery off, and then reverse the procedure to power back on again.

 

To turn Arlo Baby battery power on or off:

  1. Rotate Arlo Baby’s foot plate and remove the Arlo Baby character’s feet.
  2. Turn the battery switch on the bottom of Arlo Baby on or off. 
    The camera’s battery is on when the green color displays.
  3. Replace the foot plate.

Yes i have the sound turned up, i tried 2 devices and listening to the recording online.

 

That didnt help so i guess i should return it then?
