Head icon?

After updating there is a new icon that appeared at the bottom right of the screen. It is a head with motion waves at the back. It can be enabled or disabled when tapped. What does this mean?

The "head" icon is for audio always on "Always Listening".... if toggled on, the audio will still play in background if phone is sleeping/etc

I thought the same thing, but in testing it today (since the sound works again - yay!) it doesn't matter whether I have this icon on or off, the sound will continue to play when I lock my phone.  Thoughts?

Yeah that’s why I was confused as well... I still don’t get what its function is. I’m glad the sound is working again too!
