My camera has not been working so I contacted what I believed to be an Arlo support representative. He was from India and he convinced me to pay $149.99 for a subscription to Arlo and to upgrade the services. It felt like a strange conversation. But he did indeed fix my camera. Has anyone else had this experience?

Sounds like he was a scammer. Do you see a subscription in the subscription area of the app?

Arlo support agents will never ask you for payments, credit card numbers, or bank information for support services. If you chose an optional paid subscription plan for your Arlo products, you can use your Arlo app to manage payments.
