Data or Router?

HELP!!!! I'm not tech savvy. I know this topic has been discussed numerous times but I need it dumbed down a bit.

DOES MY ARLO BABY USE DATA OR IS IT JUST USING THE ROUTER?

It is set to not store/save and video or audio.

All I use it for is Iive video feed with Audio notifications.

Can we keep the answer simple :-).

The Arlo Baby connects to your router and uses the internet connection to the router.

When you stop an Arlo Baby live stream, you will see a small house icon in the bottom left hand corner of the camera widget. This indicates the stream is local (connected to your home router). If you do not see the small house icon, this means the stream will be using your mobile devices data connection.
