Help! I have had an arlo baby camera since 2019. We turn it off when not in use. The other day when it was on, we smelled burning in my sons room. We quickly realized it was the camera lens. It was so hot to touch it burnt me!! This is a hazard to my child. Is there a way to fix this? Why is this happening?

Cease using the camera immediately. There's something seriously wrong! Use Settings, SUpport to get help and a replacement.

Yes! I agree! But I cannot get in touch with support. It was gifted to us and we don’t have a subscription. Do you know how I get in touch with someone? It keeps saying I don’t have access to a live person

DO you have access to the receipt, perhaps by asking the person who gifted it to you? If so, temporarily subscribe to a single camera subscription so you can get support.

This is a user-to-user forum, and neither @jguerdat nor I work for Arlo.  So we really can't say whether Arlo support will accept some other proof of purchase or not.
