Arlo baby no sound

I have just bought the Arlo Baby. The sound monitoring does not work, I do not hear back anything on the app and not matter how big of a noise I make there are no alerts generated. Tried on an Android phone and on an iPad, identical behavior.

Here are the software versions:
Arlo Baby firmware
Android app: 2.7.4_25567
iOS app: 2.7.5

I checked that the microphone is turned on in the device settings. Is this a hardware issue?

Have you tried to reboot or reset the camera if the reboot does not work?


Can you try and talk through the camera using the 2 way talk feature. This will help pinpoint what the issue.
