App keeps crashing

I have the Arlo Baby and I’ve been streaming it on a iPhone X running iOS 12.1.2 and I’m updated on the Arlo app (firmware 1.8.6. 2 _22781) yet every other time I open the app it just turns off/crashes within a few seconds. Anyone else experience this?

The new 10 and the new OS  has been having troubles working together...

but I would still delete the app and reinstall

I've experienced this for the last year. Every time they release a new version of the app, I think, surely they've fixed the crashing when opening. But instead they've only intruduced new bugs that don't allow backgound audio.
