Activity zones not working on Arlo baby

I was having issues with my notifications on my Arlo baby camera, but I finally got those fixed. But now, the activity zones aren’t working. I have it set to alert if there is motion anywhere but the baby bed, and it is still going off every time my son moves in his bed. How can I fix this issue?

Do you have an Arlo subscription plan on your account? This is required if you want to use activity zones. You can read more about it here: What are activity zones and how do I create them?

When was this change made? I’ve been using my Arlo baby cameras for almost 3 years with activity zones with no problems. I was never notified of this change either.

To clarify this:  If a camera is on battery power, then the Arlo Cloud processes the activity zone(s) - and that requires a subscription.  But if a camera is AC powered, then the camera processes the activity zone(s) - which does not require a subscription.

 

This is not new behavior.

 

Is the app telling you that the activity zones have been disabled?  Or are they just not working?

Yes, my cameras are plugged in to the power cord. The app is not telling me anything. They are just not working. My notifications are not working at all for this camera again.
