My doorbell press does not seem to trigger video recording

When someone presses the doorbell, the video should start recording. This seems like the most basic function for a device like this. I live in a condo with lots of people that pass my door all day long so motion detection wouldn’t make sense. A record or who actually stopped to ring not only makes sense but should be the most basic expectation. Am I missing some configuration somewhere?

Unfortunately, the doorbell can't be set to record when it is pressed.
I agree it would be a good option.
