I have the doorbell paired with a camera outside my home, when the button is pressed I can answer the call that's when things go wrong, 1 the video will not show and 2 I hear nothing on the doorbell speaker, 3 when I try to talk through my phone it crashes and ends the call. It worked before the last update of the app now it will not work and the doorbell is almost useless as it will not work and even when I try to leave a message it dose not show up on the app

What version of the Arlo app are you using & what Phone/OS are you running?

 

Also, What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far? I do not want to suggest anything you may have previously performed.

I have taken batteries out of doorbell, force closed app.
I have not yet uninstalled/reinstalled the doorbell

Does this occur on any other phone, Specifically Android? Can we try & remove/re-install the doorbell & see if that resolves the issue? I have added an article in case you need it. Thank you for all the detailed posts so far.

So I think I found the problem I had an app that was a VPN and for some odd reason it was messing with this and other things in the phone uninstalled vpn app and everything works fine
