Audio doorbell being offline after restart of the system. Eventually it does go online, but that's after some time. In the meanwhile all other devices are online. Just the doorbell. Can someone confirm that theirs is doing the same? Can this be added to the list of items to be fixed please?

I can't confirm this with an audio doorbell but my 1st gen. video doorbells connected to a hub do the same thing. I haven't measured the delay but would guess ~5 minutes before online.

I didn't measure the length of time exactly, but you're probably right.  Thank you.

@BrookeN could we log that as an issue?

I sure can, I will let the development team know. Thank you for providing this information, I will update as soon as possible.

@BrookeN last night, the audio doorbell stayed offline for over 30 minutes after I restarted the hub. Twice. Obviously no access to logs so can't tell exactly (why exactly can one not have access to logs, by the way?) however, it was around 7-8pm UK time 16 Dec. Something obviously with your servers in the evenings of UK time.

@Edinburgh_lad1 can you provide timestamps of when this is occurring?

Whenever I restart the system!

I'm doing it as we speak: 10:16-10:17pm UK time.

And one of the chimes has started doing that, although it came back online within two minutes.

It's still offline! 40 min later.

Over an hour now. Obviously I'm not going to keep ridiculing myself by posting screenshots of the offline doorbell every 10 minutes or so.

The point is it's offline and doesn't come back online until some time after. I didn't used to do it and from experience, there is probably a problem at Arlo's end.

Thank you!

I recently rebooted my hub with 2 AVD2001 wireless doorbells connected. They took 3-5 minutes to show as reconnected after the hub reboot. I've never seen a longer period.

My reason  for rebooting the hub is that I noticed the doorbells were not recording. In the past, a hub reboot took care of that. This time, though, I had to reinsert the doorbell batteries to regain control. This would have been more difficult with a wired or Gen. 2 doorbell.

Thank you both for providing that information.

No problem. Happy to oblige, as usual. The question is when we can expect an improvement. I don't want to just restart the system for the sake of it.
