What is the range for the doorbell?

How far can I have it from the base station?

I want to put it on the gate at the end of my yard.....

Range is subjective based on how many objects / walls / interference is between the unit and base...

testing is the only way to really know.

I have placed mine about 35+ft from base and it worked fine.
