I'm getting delay with the 2-way talk feature when I'm far from my doorbell, but when I'm near the doorbell, it has almost little to no delay. Can anyone explain what's happening?

What is the difference in the audio delay and at what distances?
Is the doorbell connected via a Base or to the local wifi network?
Could be that your phone is using local wifi when close but switch’s to cellular internet when away from home.

I have read other posts suggesting that the doorbell is notorious for delay. I can’t say I have seen any explanation or a solution.
If I live stream a pro2 camera it takes about 5 seconds to stream to my phone so have that delay to start with. The loner I stream the longer the delay increases, can get as long as 30sec to a minute. I put it down to the arlo server delay.
