Hello, just bought an arlo pro3 system with the arlo audio doorbell.

Browsing on the forum I see that existing AC chime can be connected directly to the audio doorbell but seems only for 8V-24V. What if my chime is directly connected and working with 230V? Can I connect it?

If not what shall I do?

It is very usual in Europe and particularly in Switzerland to have 230V chimes...

thanks for your support!

Hi edfree,

You can connect your Arlo Audio Doorbell to mechanical or electronic doorbells if they operate at a voltage between 8-24 volts AC.

An alternative option would be to use the Arlo Chime, which can give you instant alerts when someone presses the Arlo Audio Doorbell. You can see more about the Arlo Chime here Arlo Audio Doorbell/Arlo Chime
