Is it possible to use arlo pro 3 with audio only arlo doorbell? 

 

From the explanation they only support arlo pro2 and ultra.

 

New arlo video doorbell seems not needed if we use arlo pro3.

Just so you are aware - the Arlo audio doorbell no longer works - it does not alert iPhone or Android.  This was reported to Arlo several weeks ago and there has been no indication of if/when this will be fixes.

Yes, Pro 3 can be used with the Arlo Audio Doorbell.

A fix for this was recently deployed. Please let us know if you're still experiencing this issue.
