Hi i just installed my doorbell with batteries. My son is an authorized user in my acct. and his app recognized the doorbell and the chime right away, but mine will not. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app 2 or 3 times. amd my base station and cameras show up, but not the new devices.
Also, when added the db, he got a different screen. Mine tells me to plug am ethernet cable (it is plugged), the next scrren tells me to power the base station (it is powered) and the next says "discovering your device" forever until it tells me that could not find it. What am I doing wrong?

It sounds like you are using an account that was granted access rather than being the primary user. If so, the primary user must add the doorbell to your access so you can see it.
