My new Arlo Doorbell has not updated to the latest firmware. How is this sent out or what do I need to do to upgrade it.

Popping the batteries out and/or rebooting the base may help.

That is probably what I will do, but just curious why the firmware was released but never updated.

According to the Release Notes, it should be 1.2.0.0_275_250. I am still on 1.2.0.0_215_174. I will probably try removing the battery later today and see what happens.

Mine is at 1.2.00_261_229. The Arlo iOS app states “no updates available” (doorbell>device settings>device info>firmware). Where on the Arlo website did you find release notes for firmware updates?

Unplugging and rebooting the base did not force an update.

Oops! It looks like I clicked on the Solved button too soon. When I unplugged my base and plugged it back in. The doorbell became inactive. I had a red icon with an exclamation point and the message said that the device was unavailable. On a gut feeling I pressd The doorbell button and that activated the doorbell again, but did not update the firmware. Maybe we have to remove the device and reinstall it.?
