arlo doorbell does not activate my old doorbell. Setting on #2, and still does not work. My arlo app on my iPhone goes off ok. If i change the setting to #1 or #3 the doorbell buzzes constantly. Doesnt matter how i wire the arlo doorbell to the existing doorbell wires.
any suggestions???? Short of getting an arlo chime. Then if i get an arlo chime, use settings #1 or #3, I’ll still get a buzzing from the old door bell speaker. Oh the joys of technology.

Did you do the Traditional Chime setup in the doorbell settings?

I followed the installation guide. Setting #1&3 are for a chime, I’m guessing it’s the Arlo chime. Setting#2 is for the current doorbell. Setting #2 does not activate my current doorbell. Not sure I understand your reference to traditional chime.
