I just got the doorbell and the delay between the time I push the doorbel and the time my phone rings is longer than I expected. I'd say it is usually at least 5 and usually closer to 10 seconds before the phone rings. Is this normal? Seems pretty excessive.

This time should be closer to the lower end of your results. Does this happen when your phone is connected to your home WiFi or when you're connect to your mobile data or both?

My doorbell usually takes between 10 and 20 seconds to make a call - when everything is on WiFi.
Hard to tell how long when I'm away from home, but most times the visitor is long gone (e.g. with package deliveries)
