Two of my Arlo cameras will be end of life next month.  I had them working with an original base  station, sending alerts to my phone and giving me access the free plan alert recordings online.

So, those are going end  of life.

I have bought an Arlo Pro 4 to test and it is working well.  I have it set up to talk directly to the internet without a base station.

If I sign up for the Arlo Secure plan ($12.99/month) can I use both the Arlo 4 Pro cameras and the two older Arlo Pro cameras working through the old base station, with the Arlo 4 camera being set up to trigger an alert and have all cameras then record to the cloud and notify me?

OR... will the older Arlo Pro cameras not work in such a set up?

The old system will continue to work as before. If you wish to add a subscription for your Pro 4 so it will have cloud recordings after the trial sub expires, a single camera plan would suffice unless you want to have the 30 day cloud recordings for all cameras. Either way, you can have all cameras interact with each other as you suggest.
