VMK3500 no internet LED on base station

Followed quick set-up instructions, continued with manufacturer reset (holding reset button with paper clip until all LEDs flash amber), new cat5 cable, different port, tested port; two days now and the internet LED won't go on. All flash when base is powered-up, power LED goes to amber, all others are off, power LED goes to green, no internet LED. Beyond frustrated!!! Need this hooked up before leaving for work trip. Please help!!!!

Fastest thing is to swap at the store. If it's a hardware issue only a replacement will be the cure.
