Hi all,

Is it possible to use the arlo q camera (connected with a lan cable to my router), together with an arlo base station as a (manually triggered) alarm? I would love to use both of these devices in the same Arlo app. The reason I'd like to combine this, is because I would like to have a camera that isn't connected via wifi. (If I'm not mistaken, the Arlo Pro 2 camera cannot be connected via a LAN cable?)

Many thanks!

Kind regards,

Danny

As PS;

The siren will only operate from cameras sync'ed to the base... since the Q cams links directly to your home wifi and not the base.... it won't work

All Arlo cameras set up in your account will use the same app. However, Q cameras can't mix with base station cameras (or vice versa) for modes - each system is unto itself. Thus, you can't have the Q to sound the siren on the Pro base.
