I have an Arlo smart hub VMB4540.  I am trying to install 3 wired avd1001b essential doorbells. I can only get a maximum of 2 doorbells connected. I have 3 doorbells, A, B, & C.  All three meter 17 volts. If I connect A & B then C is not recognized.  If I connect A & C then B is not recognized. If I connect B & C then A is not recognized.  If I disconnect the hub, A, B, & C will all connect over WiFi. I have tried factory resets and unplugging the hub for a reboot. Since all three doorbells work independently and all three work with WiFi, I thought it might be the hub. I tried a new hub and get the same results. I have talked with 4 support tech persons over the course of four days, no solution. Help!

I had to search for the answer. It turns out that you can only add 2 doorbells to a hub or base:
