doorbell randomly rings

My doorbell randomly rings and sometimes won’t stop for several minutes . Also, it doesn’t record video but is connected. It will connect on its own when I turn off notifications. WASTE OF MONEY. If some tells me that it’s a wiring issue or WI-FI issue…. Everything is done right!

Is this the wired doorbell (AVD1001)?  If so, have you double-checked that the powerkit is installed?  Also, did you confirm that the transformer is at least 16 vac and 10 VA?
