Arlo Video Doorbell- not connected to base error

Arlo video doorbell was installed previously and worked fine.  Later received an error message and it would not connect to base station.  I removed the doorbell from the app.  I attempted to reinstall; however the doorbell isn't registering a solid white light for installation.  Light is indicating that it is detecting motion.

Use the reset procedure as provide in the FAQ in the Support area. Hold the small hidden button on the back until the ring starts flashing.

Have you tried or does it connect directly to your wifi router?
