VMB5000 & Pro4 no local recording

Im trying to use a VMB5000 station to locally record from 2 Pro4 cameras. Followed directions. Read a number of posts and followed suggestions and still no recordings. Due to poor performance and available solutions from the company I’m thinking returning this and buying a competitor product.
