My company got an email today stating that our cameras will be end of life on July 1, 2023. But when we look at what's been flagged as EOL none of our cameras appear to be on the list. All our units are H8 devices. And our base station is a VMB4000.

What are we missing? Are these actually going EOL or not?

Thanks,

Balt

For most Arlo cameras you can open the battery compartment door, remove remove the battery and the model number is on a sticker starting with VMCXXXX. If your camera is on the list and will be impacted by the end of life policy, you can read more here about what that means: https://kb.arlo.com/000063018/Arlo-Legacy-Cameras-End-of-Life

Thanks for the reply. Is there any other way to find the model without having to get a ladder and pull the cameras down? I've got the serial numbers. Does Arlo not have a serial number lookup site?

Also, the web interface just shows Firmware, Hardware (the H8 in our case) and the Serial number. Is there no where else to get the exact model?

@balt- you can find it in the app.

Go into the "support" area, and select the camera there.  Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and look in the product field.
