Arlo Pro 3 battery and the XL battery

Just notice on the XL battery which some have and some do not have it, where the positive and negative signs are, next to the contacts is a white small rectangular box.  On a new battery it is blank.  So I replace a battery that was about 4 months old that was not charging by the solar panel,  the small white rectangle showed about 3 red diagonal lines crossing it. Can anyone tell me what they mean.  They seem to be on some of the batteries but not all unless this is a new thing.  I re-charged the old battery and it, and it seems to be fine.

My guess would be that there may be different manufacturers of the battery and one of them uses that symbol for some reason. I can't imagine that it would indicate anything useful for a consumer but...
