Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight and Doorbell

I have a base with 4 or 5 Arlo cameras (the 1st gen bulky battery ones), should I connect the floodlight and doorbell to the wifi directly or should I connect them to the base like the other cameras? Is there a benefit when choosing one option over the other or is it all the same?

You will have a bit better battery life and more stable connection for range while connected to the SmartHub as well as local storage options.
