One of my Arlo Pro 2 cameras overheated during charging. Not from battery but closer to lens.

I have 2 Pro 2., two camera systems. One at home and one at the cottage. One of my cameras recently overheated during charging, the battery was not hot. Heat came from the front quarter of the camera (close to the lens). The battery seems fine, but the camera is not working. Cameras are tow years old, so I’m assuming they are out of warranty. Has anyone ever had this happen? If I decide to replace the camera, can I pair a different camera with my pro 2 base station, or am I limited to the pro 2 cameras?

It does sound like the camera died. You can sync any wirefree cameras to your existing base as long as the firmware is up to date.
