At night the essential camera does not show visible picture, only a grey screen. tried spotlight on and off, nighttime vision on and off. Cannot get Arlo cust. service due to no subscription. Not willing to pay additional monies to get help with equipment still under warranty.

I'm tagging @JamesC and @ShayneS They can help you reach support with your warranty claim.
A couple of questions though:
- Are you hearing audio when the problem occurs?
- Does moving the camera indoors (closer to your wifi) make any difference??
- Did you try a factory reset of the camera?
