Arlo essential door bell connection is not picking up on the Samsung S6

We have had this installed today and our phones, one an Iphone works but the connection is not picking up on the Samsung S6, the arlo app is installed and shows, but when the button on the doorbell is pushed no notification or motion is alerted to this phone. The phone is connected to the camera also.

 

Does anyone have suggestions as to what is wrong please?  The engineer seems to think this phone is too old!

Thanks for your message.  As soon as the engineer left the samsung began to work - boom - sorted now.

What version of Android are you running?  The minimum is Android 5, and I think  you are running at least that.
