Recently purchased a wireless outdoor camera and when my 3 months free trial was up I was offered a 50% discount to a subscription plan (even showed this for a 12 months subscription). Every time I proceeded to payment, the discount kept disappearing. Now it’s gone all together. Anyone had this problem? Can I still get a discount on a subscription?

That’s happened to me twice in the past 6months.  A discount is promoted for a subscription, then is gone at checkout.  I think it’s intentional.  The first time it happened, the response from customer service was a request for me to “provide a screenshot of the offer”, which I didn’t have.  They acted like they knew nothing about such an offer.  The 2nd time i again did not take a screenshot (fool me twice, shame on me).  I’ll wait for the next discount offer, and plan to document everything with screenshots, expecting more disappearing discounts.
