Arlo Essential Outdoor Camera - Automated Recording not Functioning

Arlo Essential Outdoor 2nd Gen

Firmware: 1.2.2_512_9955b13

Hardware: VMC3050Aer1.4

 

Hello all,

 

My outdoor Arlo security camera is set to record video on Friday and Saturday from 7:00 PM to an unknown time (possibly midnight) as the app interface is confusing. At any rate, there is no sign of it recording except for a record icon, which upon clicking does nothing. There is no footage appearing in the feed on either the app or the web interface. Am I missing something or is this the fault of the app/GUI?

 

Any help is much appreciated.

If you live stream the camera, are you able to record manually?

 

Do you have an active trial/subscription plan?
