I bought a new essential indoor 2nd Gen camera from Boston.

But in the app it only allows me to connect the ones with the button located on the bottom of device. 

I live in Turkey and of course I will use this camera in Turkey. 

 

Why does Arlo has region restrictions?

This is not a good start to Arlo with me.

New cameras generally roll out to different regions at different times. Make sure you have the latest app since that is required to be able to onboard the camera but otherwise you just have to wait until your region is made available. You could use a network-wide VPN to a supported country (such as the US) to create a new account and set the camera up, along with a credit card from that country for the purpose of purchasing a subscription when the trial subscription expires. After setup you wouldn't need the VPN.

In this case it will be better to wait Arlo support Essential Gen 2 in my region. Because I also bougth different cameras which are already supported in my region. 

 

But anyway this shows that "ARLO is not a global brand yet".
