Are there any settings for new App to improve stability on an Android device?

2nd Gen Essential camera operation is not stable on my Android phone.  Long connection time for live picture and often fails to connect.  Image and sound disruption after connection also.  Are there camera, phone, or router settings that should be in place to make the operation more stable?

The symptoms you're experiencing could be related to poor camera connectivity or some type of interference at the cameras location.

 

Try bringing the camera close to your router, temporarily as a test, and initiate a live stream. If this alleviates the issue, it could be that the cameras location is causing a problem.
