Where/how to buy Arlo products

Are Arlo products and systems standalone DIY products I buy myself as a homeowner, or are they sold to local security companies who install and monitor them?  Do they compete with Alarm.com’s software platform?

Arlo devices can be easily set up and installed using the Arlo Secure mobile app. Simply download the app on your Android or iOS mobile device, and follow the on screen instructions to get started after you've chosen which Arlo devices fit your needs.
