Use Amazon echo as an alarm/siren

I am wondering is there any chance we can use Amazon echo to play an alarm sound when Arlo detects a motion.  Currently Arlo does send push notification as well as emails by default. But an alarm could really help if you are away from your phones and could potentially deter the unwelcomed guest.

I tried IFTTT, I was able to see the first part "if Arlo detects a motion" but the then part does not have ehco listed.

Any idea?

No, the Echo cannot be used to do this (yet). Many people wish it could. "If the front door arlo detects motion, get the Echo to play dog barking sounds" would be the most popular request I've seen

Thank you for the quick reply! Hopefully this can be done sooner than later. It sounds to me more like Echo side work though.

Yes, this is a quite desirable feature for the Amazon Echo line.
