When I trigger a recording via IFTTT, it also seems to create a motion event for that camera (I have Arlo and Arlo Pro cameras with Pro base station). I also use SmartThings and this is problematic because I use the Arlo cameras as motion sensors for SmartThings.
In the Arlo app Library, IFTTT recording show as motion as well. Seems like they would be better described as manual.
Is there any way to have the IFTTT recording not trigger the camera's motion sensor? Another great feature would be to allow camera stills/snapshots via IFTTT.
Thanks!
