Just notice this door sensor from Amazon:

It seems to be unavailable to Australia here.  Is this something decommissioned already?

No - it is part of the home security system (which is not sold currently there).

Is the All-in-one sensor being released in Australia?

is there any recommended alternative solution to this, for Australia?

IKEA does door sensors which are powered using AAA batteries. You'd need to get a bridge, though, too.

Alternatively, you can invest more in the Hue system: they offer a door sensor, too, but it's powered by a coin battery.

Please note though that neither of the above is going to 'talk' to Arlo; both are independent of Arlo, which is probably better in the long term.

thanks.

Yes I also noticed the door senor from IKEA (which is ZIGBEE)  Exactly which bridge are you referring to?

I am about to try the following TUYA door sensor:

TUYA door sensor from eBay

Will see if I could use (free!) Google Home Automation as the bridge to trigger from TUYA then action on ARLO.

I have received this TUYA door sensor.  It's good enough for automation, but only within the TUYA app environment.  When it is integrated with Google Assistant (which is also integrated with ARLO), the door sensor many times missed the open/close status update to GA, eventually failing the GA routine that is supposed to execute.

Meaning I am yet to have a solution to switch ARLO modes, when I am opening the door and going out around my property.  sigh.
