Good Afternoon,
I hope someone can help me. I have been successfully using My Netgear Arlo base station with 4 cameras (3 Arlo and 1 Arlo Pro) for some time with very little issues. However lately, in the mode function on the Arlo app, Arlo has been consistently reseting itself to Disarm. When i change it back to 'Smartthings' mode, it works briefly, however when i turn off the camera's in my spartthings app, Arlo automatically defaults back to "disarm' and does nothing. This has never been an issue up until about 3 weeks ago. I dont belieive i have done anything to have brought this constant change on. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated as im getting somewhat frustrated with it.

The Smartthings Mode has been screwy for quite some time. Don't know if Arlo made the changes or Smartthings. To solve the problem, I leave my modes in Arlo to always Armed and use the Smartthings routines to activate/deactivate my cameras. The Smartthings routines act exactly like the on/off slider switches for each camera, but with the Smartthings routines, you can select several or all cameras to activate/deactivate them. Works so much better than using the Smartthings Mode. Once I used the Arlo connect app to link the cameras to Smartthings, a Smartthings Mode was created. I then deleted it.
A little hard to get your head around the concept, but easy to implement. I now arm/disarm my Smartthings system, ( and Arlo cameras), using routines. Hope that helps,
Brian

Hi Brian,
Thanks for the quick response. I will give it a go and see how it pans out.
Many thanks
