Arlo BaseStation not adding cameras to HomeKit

I’ve recently ordered a package of Arlo cameras (Pro5s) and an Ultra SmartHub for my new house. We use the Apple ecosystem and have family that use Arlo and recommended it. 

When setting up, I connected the SmartHub to my router and connected it to my Arlo Secure app. No problem there. I then moved on to add my Pro5s camera to my SmartHub. Connected without issue. 

I then went to add my SmartHub to the Apple HomeKit app. It reads the code, the hub gets added and…. Nothing. No cameras added to the Home app. No way to connect them via the Arlo app. Even went and checked to make sure the SmartHub was added to HomeKit on the Arlo app. Yep and still nothing.


I have tried resetting and changing the order of adding things but nothing has worked. I am starting to regret my decision of going with Arlo. Can anyone help?

Hi @rayjmcg 

 

The Pro 5s will need to be connected to your SmartHub to utilize HomeKit. After you add the device to the hub you should then see it within HomeKit.
