time selection for scheduled recording of motion activities

Has anyone else noticed that one cannot select a time before midnight anbd then extending to 6a.m. for recording? The best I can do is to start at midnight for night recording.

Nope - common issue. That would involve 2 days. So, set the schedule for, say, 12:00AM - 7:00AM and then another from 10:00PM-11:59PM.
