Why can you not set a schedule for over night? Ex 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. It says the time has to start and stop in the same day so I can get 7 to 11:59pm or 12:00 to 7 am. That doesn't make any sense why is programmed that way. And they still need to make a rechargeable battery pack.

It is the way it is written......it does eliminate the date change when setting up and going thru midnight.

Don't hold your breath for a rechargeable pack... Netgear in mid 2015 supported rechargeable li-ion cells in use but since have moved away do to various problems ( think of the phones catching on fire recently )
