I have a new system and when I installed it two days ago it recorded and sent notifications just fine, but now it doesn't. I went into the system and set it up to detect and notify but it still doesn't . any one have answers.

Easy way to verify your MOTION ON settings are right is to activate that MODE and then go to the live view camera screen...
If motion is activated, the 'running man' will be GREEN above each camera

Hi snakeeater,
Aside from checking the motion detection, you may also want to check the schedule of motion detection and email notification (in all or specific cameras). Some helpful steps are found on these articles.
